Maurice Cope has now completed several solo albums on the classical guitar and the lute.
His latest recording "Sweet Tones of the Classical Guitar" was released on the 1st of July 2010. This is a recording of popular transcriptions for the classical guitar of music from the 16th and 17th Centuries. It is the first of a set of three recordings of popular music played on the classical guitar beginning in the 16th Century and ending with the 20th Century. Sweet Tones of the Classical Guitar 2 & 3 will be available in June 2012.

At the moment Maurice is recording a new album performed on the lute which is entitled "Lend Me Thine Ears" - A collection of popular music for gentlefolk and countryfolk from Shakespeare's England" This recording is due for release in March 2012.
